International Happiness Day

šŸ¤—This is the day of celebration but with the pandemic going around letā€™s best stay at home and still celebrate by doing something joyful. Need more happiness tips?

Hereā€™s 5ļøāƒ£ wonderful ways to bring happiness in your life by maintaining social distancing.

1ļøāƒ£Connect: Social connects and communications are integral part of our daily life. Itā€™s proven to enhance our state of well-being. Face to face interactions are not a necessity for building good relationships. Try going digital. A digital hug may not produce the same level of oxytocin but connecting with your loved ones help reduce stress. šŸ‘©šŸ¼ā€šŸ’»

2ļøāƒ£Sleep well : Good sleep helps in emotional well being and now with work from home and isolation demands we can make best use of time and catch up on some. šŸ’¤

3ļøāƒ£Move it, move it: Physical activities reduce anxiety levels. With Gyms and Fitness Centers closed it could be difficult to maintain the same level of exercise routine. Try Aerobics, Zumba or Just Dance to bring in an element of fun in your life. ( Note for parents:kids love this activity šŸ˜„)

4ļøāƒ£Read: There may be some good books šŸ“š already in your collection or use kindle to elevate your spirits with good books such as ā€œThe art of happinessā€ by Dalai Lama ā€œYou can heal your lifeā€ by Louise Hay.

5ļøāƒ£Thanks: Say it to the person at the grocery store, medical shop. Send a note to your doctor, friends and family. Gratitude will increase our optimism and positivity which is integral in overcoming this global outbreak.šŸ™
